Welcome to Seen Felt Heard, a project of a non-profit, non-government, unincorporated association established for the benefit of its members & through those members, the wider community.
By accessing our website, participating in any project, receiving any resource, attending any session, making a contribution, or otherwise engaging with Seen Felt Heard, you acknowledge that you have read, comprehended & agree to the following terms.
Purpose
Seen Felt Heard exists to restore genuine human connection through education, conversation, support & community.
Our purpose is to provide a safe, respectful & compassionate space where every person has the opportunity to feel seen, felt & heard.
Educational Purpose
All information, conversations, educational resources, workshops, publications, sessions & other materials provided by Seen Felt Heard are offered for educational & informational purposes only.
Nothing provided by Seen Felt Heard constitutes, or is intended to constitute:
- legal advice;
- financial advice;
- taxation advice;
- accounting advice;
- business advice;
- psychiatric advice;
- psychological advice;
- medical advice;
- therapeutic treatment;
- counselling services where regulated;
- crisis intervention; or
- any other regulated professional service.
Participation in Seen Felt Heard does not establish a solicitor-client, financial adviser-client, psychologist-client, doctor-patient or other regulated professional relationship.
Any decisions you make before, during or after participating in any project, conversation or activity are made entirely at your own discretion & remain your sole responsibility.
Where appropriate, you should seek independent advice from a suitably qualified professional relevant to your individual circumstances.
Personal Responsibility & Waiver
By participating in Seen Felt Heard, you acknowledge & agree that you are solely responsible for your own choices, actions, decisions & outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily release & discharge Seen Felt Heard, its unincorporated association, members, committee members, volunteers, facilitators, educators, representatives & contributors from any liability, claim, demand, action, loss, damage or expense arising directly or indirectly from your participation.
No guarantees, warranties or representations are made regarding personal, financial, legal, educational, business, emotional, relationship or health outcomes.
Participation is entirely voluntary & undertaken at your own discretion & risk.
Confidentiality
Trust is built through confidentiality.
Information shared by members during conversations, correspondence or participation in projects will be treated respectfully & confidentially.
Information will not be intentionally disclosed to any third party except:
- where disclosure is required by law;
- where there is a reasonable belief of a serious & immediate risk of harm to yourself or another person; or
- where you have provided your express consent.
Every reasonable effort will be made to safeguard your privacy & confidentiality.
Privacy
Personal information collected by Seen Felt Heard is used solely for the administration of membership, bookings, communication, educational resources, projects & the operation of the association.
We do not knowingly sell, rent or distribute member information to third parties for commercial purposes.
Complimentary Lifetime Membership
Seen Felt Heard is a membership-based community.
By participating in any project, attending any session, receiving any educational resource or making any contribution, you automatically become a complimentary Lifetime Member of the Seen Felt Heard Association.
There are no ongoing membership fees associated with this complimentary membership unless optional membership categories are introduced in the future.
Membership reflects your participation in a community committed to restoring genuine human connection for the benefit of its members & through those members, the wider community.
Contributions & Refund Policy
Financial contributions received for sessions, educational resources, workshops or other projects assist in supporting the current & future activities of Seen Felt Heard.
These contributions enable the association to continue creating educational resources, community initiatives & projects benefiting members & the wider community.
As contributions are committed towards the ongoing operation & future development of the association, all contributions are final.
No refunds will be provided for:
- booked sessions;
- missed appointments;
- educational resources;
- downloadable materials;
- digital resources;
- workshops;
- memberships; or
- any other contribution made to the association,
except where required under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where reasonable notice has been provided, we may, at our discretion, offer an opportunity to reschedule a session, subject to availability.
Intellectual Property & Copyright
Unless otherwise stated, all content created, published or provided by Seen Felt Heard, including but not limited to:
- educational resources;
- written publications;
- guides;
- videos;
- recordings;
- graphics;
- artwork;
- logos;
- branding;
- website content;
- session frameworks;
- downloads;
- digital resources;
- presentations; &
- educational materials,
remains the intellectual property of Seen Felt Heard and/or its respective creators.
No material may be copied, reproduced, modified, adapted, published, distributed, transmitted, sold, licensed or commercially exploited without prior written permission.
Resources are provided for the personal educational use of members unless otherwise expressly authorised.
Recording & Non-Disclosure
To protect the privacy of everyone involved, conversations are intended to remain private.
Members agree not to record, reproduce, publish, distribute or commercially exploit conversations, recordings, screenshots or confidential communications without the prior written consent of all parties involved.
Likewise, Seen Felt Heard respects the confidentiality of its members & will not intentionally disclose confidential information except as outlined within this disclaimer.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seen Felt Heard, its unincorporated association, committee members, facilitators, educators, volunteers, members, representatives & contributors accept no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss, damage, injury, claim, expense or other consequence arising from participation in any project, conversation, educational resource, workshop, publication or activity.
Participation is entirely voluntary & undertaken at your own discretion & risk.
Amendments
This Disclaimer, together with these Terms of Participation & Membership, may be amended from time to time to reflect the ongoing development of the association, its projects & its educational resources.
The most current version published by Seen Felt Heard shall apply.
